I've been coding and admining many private servers ever since around July 2006 including JorsaScape. I've owned my own server of about 50 active users, completely coded by me from a pre-TestScape base. I've moderated Oblivion PK solely because I helped code.

What would you do if someone is spam advertising another server?
A. Ban.
B. Mute
C. Mute + Jail 5k
I would choose A because spamming other servers could potentially take away from edge-pk's thriving community that in my opinion needs to get bigger.

What would you do if someone says "Fuck your mother!"?
A. Give him a warning, if he don't stop Mute.
B. Mute.
C. Ban
D. Give him a warning, if he doesn't stop; Ban
I would choose D because it's easy to be ignorant to the rules, we've all done it, yet a direct order from an official such as a moderator should not be unheeded, and upon such, said user should be removed from the server, as he can only hurt the community.


Someone is pming you with "heey, Playername scammed me! can i have my items back?" You answer with:
A. No, i aint aloud to give items away.
B. I will ask the owner to look in the Trade-Log, tell me what you lost?
C. no response.

I would choose C, or respond with 'As there is no proof of this, I cannot take any action, try and be more careful' or something along those lines.

Someone tells you he is a staff member and you need to give him items or ban/mute someone.
I would:
A. Just ignore him.
B. Give him a warning he shouldn't say hes staff else I'd jail him.
C. Listen to him

I would choose A, due to the fact that Staff Impersonation is not listed as against the rules.

A and F, although there are many variations between languages, such as HTML <!--COMMENT--> or MSL #COMMENT.

Do you have any experience with coding:
I have been partially coding for Left 4 Quake - a PSP version of Left 4 Dead - and have personally coded helped code/troubleshoot many servers. As it isn't considered coding, I won't list my certification in JavaScript as well as my mastery in web languages such as PHP, HTML, CSS and others.

In what kind of script are servers coded:
Private servers are coded in a very simplistic version of Java, RuneScape server's are scripted in RuneScript, a language created for RuneScape to interpret actions and convert to functional, efficient Java.

Do you know what a compiler is used for? if yes for what?
Yes, a compiler in a private server's case translates your hand written Java into .class files, which can be interpreted by a Java applet of any kind.

No, I did not, I said I prefer my character to be female. Now, as I said on MY application.. Discussion over. If you wish to try and flame me, do it ingame.

I don't need to meet you... obviously I read the application and see how you handle your ways of moderation.

It looks not like a joke, but your way of handling is a bit hard, and ignoring is not the answer for me. I don't know what other people think. And btw, you're language is not the best, as other people said already to.

When I cuss or have cussed in the past, it's because I am in no way setting an example, it's not like Obama has never sped.

Also, I tend to follow the rules to the tee, IMO people can read the rules themselves and see what I am allowed to do.

Who know's why, neither of them know me well enough to say such things, they are just trying to antagonize the situation.

koolven would be a nice mod because he is very helpfull i would have never new of these forums is he hadnt told me.So i vote for koolven for mod/admin

In the area's I put ignore, I listed alternates such as letting them know my position or helping them get a hold of someone who can help, which is what I do currently. When I put ignore, I was referring to what sort of punishment I would use, also if someone tells me that they are staff in game and tells me to do something, they know how to reach me, and if they need something done, they can contact me in a more secure manner.
